Kate Handford

Actor

Kate is an actress based in London, trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Kate originated the role of Silvia in Boudica at Shakespeare’s Globe, and later this year she will appear in Ironbark, directed by Dominic Cooke and starring Benedict Cumberbatch. Her work has also been seen at the Venice Art Biennale, London Short Film Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, National Film Board of Canada & National Theatre Studios.

Rosalind Brody

Director in development

is a graduate from the University of Oxford, where she read English Literature (BA, MSt). In 2012, she directed an all-female production of The History Boys. She has appeared as an actor in Motherland (Young Vic Theatre), Star Child (Almeida Theatre), Monkey Bars (Burton Taylor Studio) and The Crucible (Sheldonian Theatre). She returned to directing in 2017 when she co-founded Sounds Like Thunder, with which she wrote and directed Kidding (Zoo Southside, 2018). Rosalind has worked as Assistant Director on Rothschild and Sons (Park Theatre), Monogamy (UK tour and Park Theatre) and as Assistant Producer on The Fever (Omnibus Theatre).

Louisa Harland

Actor

Di in Di and Viv and Rose

Louisa trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Before commencing her training Louisa appeared as a series regular in LOVE/HATE. Since graduating, Louisa’s screen credits include DOCTORS, HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS, Woody Harrelson’s feature film LOST IN LONDON and Channel 4’s DERRY GIRLS.

Domenica Marland

Domenica is currently studying Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths University whilst being a freelance artist. She also works at the digital arts platform, Arteviste. She has previously intered at The Guggenheim in Venice and has studied Poetry at The American University in Rome and Art History at the Sotheby’s institute. Her inspiration stems from the Dadaist such as Hannah Hoch and Max Ernst. 

She is constantly documenting her love for art and culture via her instagrams and website.

Amelia Bullmore

Writer and Actor

Amelia studied Drama at Manchester University. She started out as an actor and began writing professionally in 1994. She continues to do both.

Her first play, Mammals, directed by Anna Mackmin, had an extended sell-out run at The Bush in 2005 and went on a national tour in 2006. The play was staged in Los Angeles in 2009. Mammals was shortlisted for the What's On Stage Best New Comedy award and co-won the Susan Smith Blackburn Award.

Her adaptation of Ibsen's Ghosts, directed by Anna Mackmin, had a sell-out run at The Gate in 2007 and has since been produced at The Citizens Theatre, Glasgow.

She wrote a short play for the Old Vic's 24 Hour Plays in 2009, which was directed by Anna Mackmin.

Di And Viv And Rose was produced originally at Hampstead Theatre before transferring to the West End. The play has since been performed in Israel, Poland, Germany, Australia and New York and Canada.

In July 2017 her monologue Anyway was performed at The Old Vic.

Peregrine Fellowes

Guest director on Di and Viv and Rose

Peregrine's first play I see Simon premiered at the Edinburgh fringe in 2011.

He has worked with and assisted producers such as Kathleen Kennedy and Allison Shearmur on films including Disney's Cinderella, Rogue One and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Milly Smith

Producer 

Guest director on Di and Viv and Rose

Milly is a theatre producer and manager working in the West End and on tour within the UK and internationally. She joined DugOut Theatre in 2011.

She has worked as a free lance producer on Justice League films and Impossible magic show.

Daisy Marsden

Director and Actor

Guest director on Di and Viv and Rose

Daisy is an associate director at Caravan Theatre.

Taylor Rettke

Taylor is a photographer based in London. He works primarily in editorial style portraiture and professional headshots. In addition to his photography, Taylor trained in musical theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Taylor loves working with actors both on stage and in the photography studio. He has had a great time taking photographs for the talented women of the Handmade Theatre Company!
